Ink Cartridge Recycling

Aggies For A Clean Tomorrow, the TAMU Recycling Center team, are collecting used ink cartridges for recycling. Consumers save between 40-70% on re-manufactured cartridges. This implies the use of less money on a product that would otherwise end up in a landfill. The cartridges are re-manufactured with new parts and a re-coated drum to produce a quality product sold at a convenient price in the market.
All you have to do is put your empty ink cartridge (either from large-scale or small personal computer printers) in its original box and place it in an indoor paper-recycling bin on the TAMU campus. The cartridges are then brought to the recycling facility where they are packaged in box-pallets, then shipped to the highest bidder. The revenue is used to improve the Recycling Center. Last fiscal year an estimated number of 455 ink cartridges were recycled.
